Over clock Governors

So Ive seen this question asked on different forums and could never find an answer and I too have wondered. Can somebody explain to me and others the settings for governors? I understand "Performance" (it just basically pegs it out non stop) and OnDemand and "Powersave". But "Smartass" "Interactive" "Conservative" and "UserSpace"?

All info is on the wiki,

  • 2 new GPU governors (Smartass and Interactive):
    • Smartass - When the phone is sleeping, it'll cap the max CPU speed to while sleeping to 352 MHz. This helps in increasing battery life.
    • Interactive - More performance oriented. This one will ramp up smoother than ondemand. Gives more CPU to apps needing the extra power.
  • Fixed and cleaned CPU overclocking. The system now runs much smoother and is less laggy at higher CPU frequencies.
