3g dropout?

my 3g coverage has been dropping out a lot lately... has anyone else experienced this with their phones or is it a known problem? i cant do a *228 to update roaming capabilities either it wont connect to it..

You may be on US Cellular's Network. In on part of my house I am "Roaming" on USC. I know it does not cost but the *228 trick wont work. I am pretty sure when i dialed *228 the sexy phone voice said US Cellular.
