Root Rooting and OTA updates

This there a way to root the epic 4g and still get OTA update completed? If so, can someone give me a video or guideline on how to do it? I rooted my old epic twice one that would allow me to do OTA updates if I didn't mess with any of the bloatware and the other was EB13 rooted. I just got my new replacement epic after it got a little splash of water in the earphone jack and everything was chaos after that. Thanks for any help appreciate it.

I believe if you ODIN back to stock EC05, root, and don't remove any of the bloatware....you should receive the OTA.

I think the issues of not receiving the OTA come when you flash a custom ROM, which have both the bloatware removed and the OTA update disabled.

But, if you are a custom ROM person, I would just keep an eye out for a custom ROM having the "official" GB build. I am assuming you will see that available before an actual OTA update.
