Hi everyone! I am an American living in Thailand. I have a G1 T-mobile phone from USA. It is unlocked and I use it with a Thai DTAC simcard. I pay about 6 per month for 100 hours of internet and I am looking for program that will turn my internet on and off so that I don't go over my 100 hours of internet when I am not using the internet. If anyone out there knows a simple way to do this like the WiFi switch that goes on the home screen please let me know.

Also I am looking for a better program than PDA Net to tether my laptop. I paid $29 for this program and I am using it with an EDGE connection. 3G has not arrived yet in Thailand. My phone is not rooted buy friend visiting from the US has a rooted G1 and we don't know how to use the wireless tethering program installed on it. We both prefer hard wired tethering if it is possible to find a stable program to use.
