Help HBO GO - Mirroring to TV

If you have HBO, most of you can sign up for HBOGO and watch most/all HBO shows on your Bionic (it would not load on my OG Droid btw).

Problem is, when I go to MIRROR MODE to play a show on my TV via my HDMI cable, I get a message "Re-connect your cable to connect" BUT IT NEVER WORKS.

Just for comparison, it works for my Netfix.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't think HBOGO lets you mirror it to a tv. I tried with my wife's iphone and the sound came through but I just got an HBOGO screensaver on the TV.

Btw, I saw that NFL MOBILE is FREE for LTE customers for 2011 (no VCAST required, I verified). I haven't seen if it will let me MIRROR yet.

OK, I tried MIRRORING NFL Mobile to my HDTV - NO GO

Summary:

Netflix - YES, can Mirror on TV
HBO GO - No
NFL Mobile - No
Slingbox Classic - Yes (but has been laggy using in general on Bionic)

If anybody else has done any MIRRORING tests and wouldn't mind sharing results...I'd love to see it.

HBO go mirroring works on the Charge so I don't see why it would not work.

I know its way way off, but the only way i got hbo go to work was to use my Logitech Revue Google TV.

Won't work for me was reading that HBO blocks this. I don't know why the don't want us watching it on a tv but must be something to do with an agreement with cable providers.

I am running the newest hbo go on my Charge and it mirrors with no issues. Its got to be something on the Bionic that is blocking it. When I had the Bionic I did not test out hdmi at all before I decided to return it.
