If you want root, just root and flash the rooted form of the update.
I would rather wait for the OTA. I have my reasons.
Call me a purist, if you will.When you unrooted did you flash the s-on file separately? If not, you may still be s-off. But to answer your question, no you cant just run unrevoked forever because you need a custom recovery to load it which means you need root.
I went back using the ruu.
So I know I'm S-on.Edit: I take that back, stock recovery says I am indeed S-off. Interesting lol. That means I have been for a very long time. I wasn't aware the RUU doesn't reverse that.
