Anyone have an Otterbox Commuter?

Ordered mine last week so hopefully it will get here by the end of the week. I currently have the Defender Series Case on my Bionic but it is just way too bulky and sticks to my pockets since it has a rubber outsole.
 
I got the Defender but I work outside so it think I will keep it.

BTW, where are you a po-po at?
That looks like a NC trooper car.

Good Luck to you man! It's definitely not for everybody, with that said, I will be starting the process of applying at various departments within the next 6 months hopefully! :)

Ok, back on topic: No, I do not. I am waiting on a couple of reviews of all the "popular" cases before deciding on one :)

Fedex just dropped off my commuter case. It definitely adds size on to the phone, but not nearly as much as the defender. Power and volume buttons easier to push. It feels more like the size and weight of the thunderbolt without a case.

I love otterbox! I have been waiting to see how commuter works with Bionic before buying it. If you can, please post some pics.
 
I ordered the Commuter Sunday, so it won't get to me until next week according to the tracking number.

I tried the double cover case VZW was selling, but they missed an eensy weensy detail in the fact that it covers up the notification LED. (You may have seen the other thread where I found this out...). According to the pics on Otterbox, this should not be an issue.

Also interested in pics if anyone gets around to them.

Exactly why im returning the double cover when the commuter gets here Friday :)
 
I was thinking about buying the Defender to use at work b/c I work outside and sweat a lot.

I don't want to use the case when I am not working...
Is it easy to get the phone in and out of the case?
Is there a better option?

All opinions will be appreciated!

Kinda easy. Eaiser than the commuter. Just a hard piece that snaps together and then the outer silicone. Just so damn big. Lol
 
BTW, if you guys get corporate discounts with VZ, this carries over to to Accessories too.

I got 25% off my OB Defender and considering they are pretty much the same price everywhere that has them in stock including online retailers, that was the best deal. I have seen a few cheaper prices at some online stores but they are not in stock and don't have a planned date for shipping so God only knows how long you might wait.

Yessir. I think o got my Defender for like $37.50 or something like that. I love my corp discount :)
 
I have the Defender mainly for the belt clip. But wow does it add size to it. Probably returning it to Verizon and getting a store bought one I can try and see how it fits. I had the shell/holster combo from Verizon for my Charge which was decent but required screen shields once it was out of the holster and didn't snap onto the phone really securely it seemed.

@sx4dude That discount comes in handy quite a bit. I was surprised to hear from many that not everyone is told about it or is aware they may qualify.

I woulda kept the defender if it fit better and was so big. lol
But I did return it and I also plan on returning the VZW "Dual-Cove" since it doesnt cover the ports and it also COVERs the LED indiator :( lol
Im gonna be showing the Otterbox Commuter some love :)
Ill post pics tomorrow when I get it!

I bought my defender online and they told me I could go to a corporate store to return it. In the bast they have given a hard time about doing that at the store so we'll see. I'll keep an eye out for your pics and see how it looks and see how you like it. Thanks for the feedback. Oh meant to ask if the commuter had the more silicone type screen shield on it
