I was just chatting with a rep and he said if it shipped today (he was sure it will), it should arrive tomorrow for overnight shipping or Friday for 2-day shipping. So I went ahead and upgraded to next day because I just can't wait anymore.

i got my shipping updated for free....now i just have to get it expedited

9/6. But If you just recently ordered, wirefly has to wait for Sprint for an approval. So when it says 'approved' under status, give them another call or chat!
 
Many may be counting their Epics before they're hatched, but I will believe my delivery when FedEx tells me my tracking number is out for delivery.
 
My says 'shipping' too...that seems interesting. Honestly maybe they received but I'm sure they can't ship until sprint gives them the "ok". Maybe they will?

Can anyone else confirm what's happening? Seems odd that they would have it marked as "shipping" until Friday (launch day). Maybe they have been given approval to ship out so people who paid for overnight get it on Friday? That would be pretty killer.
 
I HAVE THE SCOOP from a "higher up"!!!

If you are one who paid for overnight shipping, or your order says "shipping", it's being sent tomorrow. You will receive Friday from FedEx.

Around here, we ascribe the same amount of knowledge to Customer Service Reps as is done worldwide: None.

They are so far down on the food chain and we have been misled so often, we have become jaded.

But every amount of input helps in this rumor filled thread. Thank you.

I would think that if the phones ship early, it would be tomorrow for Friday delivery. Wirefly doesn't want to piss Sprint off too much.

UPDATE: And I would be most thankful if the phones shipped for Friday delivery. I would be ecstatic to get the SGS2E4GT two days early and have the weekend to play.

As I said above, if you have overnight, you will receive tracking tomorrow. I checked with the big wigs.

Here's a posters comment from about our same topic from XDA(Can't link since IE 8 on Windows 8 Metro browser wouldn't let me the link)...

Some possible good news for Wirefly orders. I decided to cancel my order.. when I did it it wouldn't let me and it had me chat with customer service. Anyway he told me the phone had already been activated and would ship out tomorrow(thurs).. which means I would have received it Friday...

As far as the reason I cancelled.. I called the local Sprint store.. they new exactly how many they were getting and set me up an appointment Friday morning to come in and pick it up. PLUS since I'm with Tmobile I will get the $125 port in Service credit credited on day 61.... so a little more upfront.. 50 bucks.. but in the long technically it will only cost me $75 and I'll get it on release day. I guess another negative to dropping the wirefly order is I'll fall under the new TOS which will have the $350 early contract termination fee.... but I'm feeling good about this phone!
