Root accelerometer CM7

Had anyone else had the issue of extreme accelerometer lag after flashing to ANY of the CM7 ROms? I flashed back to sense and it starts working perfect ageing so it had to be the ROM .. I can't think of anything, and i'm positive its not an app causing this because i've tested the apps on diff ROMs...

That's the ROM i'm currently using.. Its still unbearable to play racing games that require it... Sucks because I just found most the gameloft games such as modern combat, nova, etc, formatted to fit the optimus m, gotta say modern combat runs amazingly smooth on this device.. After the long dreadful, anxious wait for asphalt 5 to download.. I remembered my accelerometer is screwed! xD ha!

REppards cm7 port has no problems with accelorometer.even more responsive then stock 2.2 rom

I disagree sir, I am running that exact rom and the lag is definitely as close to unbearable as it can be without me wanting to flash back to sense.

If you are not having accelerometer lag with this rom I would greatly appreciate if you could reply with the exact steps you used to flash it because I am 100% sure I flashed correctly but maybe there is an extra step I missed.

Was your phone a 2.2.1?
Thats all i can think of. I had problems with it when i ran the sense rom.

yes my phone was stock 2.2.1 and I ran sense for a long time and never had an issue until i flashed reppards cm7.1

accelerometer works great on my phone.. no lag.. games play very well.. its almost to sensative in games

Sorry, the acceleratometer bug still exists in all CM7 based ROMs afaik. The bug is cumulative, it gets worse as time goes by. The workaround is to reboot, which resets it, and it seems to be fine for at least a day.
