How to answer a call?

Can a call be answered any other way than swiping the screen? This is what the manual says but I don't understand what buttons it is talking about. It
is hard to hold the phone and swipe with one hand while driving. Looks like there used to be an app for the old Galaxy but I don't see any for the S2.

Make and answer a call

You should be using a hands-free when driving. :P

As far as I know, the only way to answer or reject calls is to swipe the buttons that appear on screen. Haven't found an app that can do it in any other way.

I don't condone using you're phone while driving. But, settings, call, call answering/ending, then check answer key.

I don't generally use a cell while driving. The inquiry is for my wife and she is going to answer with one or two hands. She doesn't like using Bluetooth with the vehicle speakerphone. I don't like it either when other people are in the car. We have had other issues using Bluetooth in the past. Even when not driving it is nice to be able to answer with one hand.

Thanks for the answers anyway. Shotgun84 I don't find these setting available on my S2.

I believe this feature isn't available on older firmware. Maybe try a firmware update.

Thanks,
I have the latest firmware that Sprint(USA) offers. Won't it void my warranty if I load a downloaded firmware?

pb_2000, I just tried the free version of this app and I don't really like it.
Thanks anyway.

Im not sure what Sprints policy is on warrantys. Its Genuine Samsung Firmware so if anything went wrong with it you could always send it back to samsung?

You can answer calls by pushing the home key, and hangup by pressing the lock/power button - if you go into settings, call answering/ending and on the subsequent screen select 'Answering Key' and 'the power key ends calls'. A lot easier that trying to swipe the screen in just about any circumstance not just driving!
