Well there had to be someone not happy!

3D wise its great(although nothing else to compare it too!)
The rest well very poor IMO.

BTW I am comparing this to my HTC Desire.

Its so laggy and slow! It just gets really annoying sometimes worse than the desire.

Plus the GPS is rubbish, it hardly works in the car making sat nav more or less pointless, sometimes it connects really quickly other times it takes minutes then it will just drop the GPS signal for no reason!

The phone network signal also seems to drop out for no reason then come back again.

I have tried a few factory resets all to no avail so its going back to orange and I am either getting the evo 3d when available or giving up on the 3D and getting something reliable and quick.

The 3D is ace though but I need a workable phone first and a toy second.

The gimmick quickly wares off when the day to day use is not good.
 
Looks like im the only one not happy with the 920.

Maybe its a dodgy handset, although im not taking that chance.
 
Lag, on a LG 3D? no way! and as for sat nav its the best phone I've ever had for GPS signal, even gets a lock in the house! Wifi is fast and don't drop out. I reckon you got a bad one mate. Have you done the update to 10D?

I installed the Regina 3D launcher today, several people are saying they are having problems with it being slow and jerky on Samsung S2's and other "top end" phones but its super smooth on this device.

The ONLY issue I've had is battery life, I got 2 spare ones now so that problems gone.

It could of been a dodgy one but I didnt want to take any chances so sent it back today.

I checked for updates but it said there wasnt any available.

Sometimes you were waiting for a good few seconds before it decided what to do,which when switching through apps and menus got really annoying! Also, using the camera was also a bit poor, it took awhile to swap over to video etc.

The GPS was very bad indeed.

Anyway hopefully I just had a bad one.

Sorry to agree with you but I find the LG-P920 as it is called in England hard to get along with. My husband likes it which is good as it's his but I still prefer the old iPhone 3G. It is far simpler to use. I find android confusing and so many apps keep running in the background batter life is less than a day unless you manually turn off every app in the Settings folder.

Android confusing? You probably have a hard time finding your way in the subway ;) Actually the lack of a "back" button on the iPhone makes it complicated I find, I guess it's because I'm used to the buttons on my phone.

iOS and Android are both UNIX based systems that will run applications in the background, but except for a few badly-coded or tasks-specific applications, if they're running in the background they shouldn't be taking any battery life or reduce your phone's performance.

As for lagging as the original poster said, I noticed on my wife's phone that the first boot was terrible, but after rebooting it's extremely fast (especially compared to my Xperia X10)
