Help Deleting folders from SD card

I keep getting the low phone storage notification so I remove apps until the notification goes away. I now have the SD card plugged into my computer and it shows folders from the apps that I have uninstalled. The storage adds up. If I no longer have the app, can I simply delete the corresponding folder from the SD card while it is plugged into my computer?

I think so, Never had to delete any from sd.

Уou get that notification ωhen your phoηe's internal memory gets loผ, not your Sdcard (unless I read your context ωrong).

If υ have a file manager app doωnloaded from Aηdroid Market, υ can delete those empty folders from your phoηe so υ ωon't have to hook it up to your computer

He is saying he is getting this message and uninstalling apps from the mobile to make room. Once said app has been uninstalled he is noticing there are folders left on the uSD card and wishes to delete those, because they too take up room, albeit not on the internal memory.

You should be safe to delete them, if you don't have the app any longer no sense in keeping them.
