HTC to hold NYC press event on September 20th; new devices in store?

Not Necessarily. With VZW's Track record from what I can remember, They haven't been Officially announcing their phones until close to launch. And it's usually announced by Big Red and not the manufacturer.

Thanks. You'd think I'd know being that I've done this already with my Inc and TB, but Verizon always keeps me guessing, haha. Thanks again and let's hope for some good news.

Not necessarily. Verizon doesn't announce the devices that far in advance and don't hold a press conference for every phone. The rhyme just got announced from verizon and is coming out the 29th. Usually they make the announcement about a few days or a week before the phone will launch.

Yeah, plus I honestly think their keeping such a tight lid on the Vigor because they don't want to hurt Bionic Sales. If most people knew a much better phone then the bionic was coming out in less then a month they'd wait...

I hear ya, but that implies that the announcement was coming from Verizon and not HTC. I doubt HTC cares about ruining Motorola's sales. :)

Totally on board with that. I just thought that maybe HTC would release a little something something on this baby today. I suppose patience is a virtue...or at least that's what they keep telling me.
 
Fail!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I need a Xanax waiting on VZ to get off their asses and announce a good phone....and a purple phone is just not going to cut it!

Htc doesnt want anyone knowing what and how it performs before the iphone 5 comes out. They want this to try and steal some of the iphones thunder. Sadly most who are with android wouldn't buy an iphone and same for those with an iphone so announcing it now would not really make a difference.
