Help Not reading sd card after gb ota.

I downloaded the gb ota today. I did a reboot and now it keeps saying sd card removed. I took the card out and put it back in with no luck. Many apps are not loading. Any help?
 
Not had that happen before sorry. Do you have another phone to test the SD on or a SD reader on your CPU that you can put the card in to see if the card has been corrupted?
 
I have my Wifey fascinate...I can see any of my pictures ,videos or any app I had moved to the sd card. All was fine before the update.

If you can see them it sounds like a issue with the phone, you could try a factory reset to see if that helps, if it doesn't then you may need to call VZW. You shouldn't be able to see apps so I am slightly confused by your statement. If you can't see them you likely have a bad SD card, you could try to reformat it to see if that helps if it doesn't you should get a new SD (I would try contacting VZW for that as well since it seemed to come from the OTA)
 
Ok I just swiped sd cards with my wife,hers worked in mine with no prob. Mine did not work in hers. All my pictures are lost this truly sucks. For a freaking update that made no difference to my phone,,only screwed my sd card. How do I go about formatting the sd card? Two seconds from chunking this phone I'm so pissed.
 
I understand your frustration completely. You can try formatting it in your wife's phone, under storage. That may or may not work. If it doesn't then you need to get it into a sd reader on a CPU and format in FAT32 on a CPU. That should work if it doesn't there are programs you can try before you call VZW if you want to.
