Root Themes for Velocity 1.1/1.2

I'm looking forward for me to creating themes for velocity. I am wondering if YOU guys want any preferred looking types of themes you want. The reason why I am saying this because I want to make something the environment wants and not just what I want. So please post your ideas or pictures below and ill try the best I can to make it as a theme :D:D:D
 
A red honeycomb theme? I will look more into how it looks but by far I think I know what you guys are expecting. This should only take about a week which is including testing. Usually it takes me 2 days to theme or 1. So stay tuned :)
 
The theme existing for DX/DX2 does not help those on the Ally.

I'm going to start making themes for Velocity for a while. I was planning an orange Honeycomb theme.... maybe we can both make red and we'll compare them. We might learn from each other

What i'd like is probably simple for a theme expert. I'd like to see color variations of the default velocity 1.2 theme. By that I mean keep the theme basically the same (don't colorize the app icons, etc.), except everywhere an icon is blue, make it red or orange or some other color that goes well with black. For instance, the signal strength icons or the option buttons are blue. Make them red or some other color. So basically the theme is the same, it just has a variety of different colors to choose from.

I'm no theme expert, but i have been playing with the framework-res file and all the graphics in there and it does not look like it would be easy to do this. even automated... doable sure, but time consuming

actually its not that hard.
you could use a batch editing program to do a hsv (hue saturation lightness) shift.

what I did on some things was find a color I liked, then took something i didn't and using paint .net moved the hsv sliders until it was close.
then I grabbed evverthing else that had the color I didn't like and applied the same shifts (contrl-shift-U) i think. sincs most things are black white grey and a color the shift only affects the color.

that's how I changed a bunch of ginger blue stuff to velocity 1.2 collored blue. maybe 60 icons.
