I'm not aware of being able to game and enjoy it on my phone. Never did like phone games that much...

Better yet, are there even any good ones for the Ascend? I didn't think there were.

lol i know right!
And yeah there not :( just wanted to see the latest

Dragon, Fly is alright. Its prerty much the only game I've found that actually works on the Ascend. Other than Words with Friends, which only worked sometimes.

For those who haven't tried, Alchemy is indeed awesome and addicting

I play mostly card games with a few other games: Tetris, Farkle, Jewels and I don't have any lag issues. I guess my success comes from not trying to run games that I know the Ascend can't handle.

you will love solitaire free pack, its in the market. ;)

What's up people? I realize a lot of Market games lag but I have NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, and PS1 games all running great on this little guy. Ill take Resident Evil 3, FFVII, Punch Out, Castlevania, Sonic, Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong etc. over Angry Birds anyday! :D I seriously have like 40 games on my ascend. Great for old school gaming! :D

mario, and resident evil? can you link me to these games

oh dang, and i dont have a facebook sadly, can you do it through here?

Ok I can try. Just follow the instructions exactly ok?

1.Apps you need:
Androzip, download it.

2.Get an emulator for your desired system and install it.
Nesoid = NES
SNESoid = SNES
Gensoid = Genesis
Gameboid = Gameboy Advance
These can all be found on the SLIDEme.come website on google.

FPse = PS1 (ver 10.57 as of this post)

3. Download a ROM or game for any of the systems.
I highly recommend Emuparadise.com since you can
Get good games for every system!

4. Okay once you download a ROM i.e. Mario Bros you want to UNZIP
the file using ANDROZIP. Once unzipped boot up Nesoid and select the ROM from
the ANDROZIP folder and then success!

Important notes! READ THIS BEFORE YOU GAME UP!

For GBA and FPse you will need "bios" for these games to run! Simply google "gba bios" or "ps1 bios" to find them. Once you have the BIOS selected for the Emulator it will be able to play the games.

For FPse: you need a PC and your USB cable to transfer the games to your phone.
After you download the ROM or "ISO" (This is what PS1 games are commonly called when emulating them) you need to compress the file using a program called "Pocket ISO". This free program is found on the FPseCe website! Okay so download the game to your PC compress it and copy the files to your phone. There will be 2 files! A .bin file and the "table" file. Pocket ISO Automatically makes the 2 files when you compress.

Random stuff to make gameplay better :)

The Ascend lacks a multi touch screen. I always have to use my trackball and or camera buttons to "jump, aim, shoot, gas" etc. You can set your desired hardware buttons in the options for all emulators. In Resident Evil 3 I use the screen to walk my camera key to aim and the trackball to fire ;) For FPse you HAVE to have your Ascend rooted and overclocked. It isn't good for fully 3D games (Metal Gear, Crash, Tomb Raider) but PS1 games with flat backgrounds are very enjoyable (RE series, Parasite Eve, FFVII) Also use Boost Mode ON and set Frameskip to 50 to reduce lag.

Any help or questions let me know and Ill do my best to help.

Good Luck! :D
