Ice cream sandwich wish list

Has anyone heard or read anything about ICS and the improvements that come with it? How about the new chrome browser? Smoother? Faster? More features? What would you like to see?

For me, I would live to see things get a little smoother. Speed is most important to me so im really happy with this phone in that respect. Im not a fan of the iphone, but I do like its smoothness.
 
For starters, go to your gallery and scroll through individual photos by swiping. EMBARRASSING! Like I said though, what I care about moat is speed and all my iphone friends are extremely jealous how fast this dual core 4g phone is. It certainly isn't a deal breaker by any means. Just something that could use improvement.

faster?? you mean, like how the browser could render a page BEFORE I request it?? My Bionic renders huge pages super fast.

Tried it and my Bionic flew through all the images i have all 311 od them no delay no lag no hesitation.

I did it in QuickPic also and same results.

Dont really know how much more improvement or how much faster it can be than it already is for me.
 
Interesting. I wonder if my wife and I got bad phones. When we scroll through pictures it rarely scrolls. It just flashes from one picture to another. Once in a while you can see it actually scroll across the screen.
 
Ok, how about we forget about any of my suggestions of what you might like to see and just post what it is you would like to see. If you don't want to see any improvements whatsoever, then don't post.
 
They are on my sd card. I currently only have pictures that I have taken with my phone on here. Puzzling, that's for sure.
 
Odd, my online photos from picassa in the gallery scroll much much smoother than the photos I have taken with the phone.

You didn't answer the question. You have TWO sdcards with the Bionic. The internal 8gb card (/sdcard), and the 16gb external card (/sdcard-ext). I was wondering where your camera app was storing the pics, and if it would make a difference if you moved them to the other sdcard.
 
It was set to removable sd. I changed it to the internal storage to experiment. Took several pictures but ended up with the same result. The 3d gallery I downloaded works perfectly on my phone. Ill just use that from now on.
 
I just hope that it doesn't get much better than it already is. My wife already hates my phone since I am on it all the time. I would really hate to have to choose between my Ice Cream Sandwich phone and my wife...because I am not sure where my wife would sleep...

Either get that woman a bionic, or when my husband leaves me for the same reason, you and I will meet up for a beer - I mean, ice cream. ;)

Love it, can I get in on that action too, we can have a party.

BTW QuickPic is definitely better than the gallery and I love how easy it is to set up folders and have images set up independently by groups.

What are you running on your phone while you are doing this?

Also, do you have a lot of background syncing, extra apps, etc?

I would suggest doing a full factory data reset (sd card, everything) and see if it's any faster.

At least you'd narrow down the problem.
