Battery indicator led?

HI

Have just received my S2 having upgraded from a HTC Desire..

1st question... the S2 is charging now.. what is the best way of knowing that the phone is fully charged.. can you do this without turning on the handset?

The Desire has a LED notification light that went green once the battery was fully charged. Does the S2 not have anything similar?

I can't remember the last time I charged my phone fully while it was off but I'm pretty sure if you press the power button quickly (dont hold) it displays your battery level. I know out beeps when fully charged when on but I'm not too sure if it will do this while off.

When mine is fully charged it says charged 100% in the left hand corner when on. And when off the the green battery icon stops cycling.

When it's fully charged you get a tone and it will display 100% in the notification bar...
