hypothetically speaking, Lets say in 2012 you sign a 2 year contract on a new phone with wimax 4g. Once Sprint switches over to LTE in late 2012 or 2013 will that phones hardware work?
Bet not.
Now my question is, Will Sprint let you upgrade for free or let you out of you contract all together because you own a worthless phone? LOL
I like Sprint and my Nexus S 4G but I feel myself gravitating towards uh well dang I hate to say it, AT&T.

I imagine with a huge network change like this in the works, Sprint will allow for some wiggle room when the times comes. I'm sure they are in planning meetings already to figure out how to handle situations as they pop up in 2012.

I also get to see the (Sprint Vision road map) So I have a pretty good idea where things are going and the use of the 800Mghz spectrum(that was IDEN) will be a major deal for Sprint. I was with Verizon for over 10 years and since Sprint was the first with 4G and the discount was enough to make me switch.
