Root Someone pleeeeeeeeeez help me with downgrading my lg optimus m

pleez, lgnpst isnt working, i dont know if i got the right one because everytime i check the "All things root" section of the lg optimus m to downgrade, the links are never up, so i went to google and downloaded one, next, one forum tells me to install all the components, but they wont install, some install fine but others dont, and theres no "models" folder to put my ms690.dll file in, plus when i start lgnpst from the c drive it says something like this, "Could not found .../wnsdrvr.sys", and it wont install some of the generic models, some help will be really appreciated, and i'll give you points or thanks or watever this websites currency of appreciation is. help me with team viewer if you can :(:(:(:(: confused::confused::confused:

Try looking for the lgnpst on the thread by Joneidy. He has a working lgnpst. AND READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY. except for the part with the root and the unbricking etc etc etc.. And make sure you restart your computer after installing each setup. It increases chances of LGNPST working. And also make sure you have the reggie.exe setup.exe ms690.dll and the 3014.prl thingy in the folder. If that doesn't work, go on google documents and find the download from Andyo. there is a lot of LGNPST downloads on google, but not all of them are working. My advice for now is to just search this thread for the lg optimus m downgrade from 2.2.2 to 2.2.1 and rooting the hell out of it, and flashing recovery and a new rom. Helps so much.

Its in Optimus M main forum. It gives you a step by step. Just read it carefully.

i cant get it to work bro pleez, someone team viewer and do it for me, i cant get it to work, plus, theres no download for lgnpst and when i get it it of google and run it, it says 'could not found wnsdrvr.sys'.

When you try to in stall it on your computer do you have your security running? ( firewall ). I think you're suppose to disable your security to install it. Send a message to Starstress inbox, he can help you. I'm using QPST so i was just giving you some info that i've read about LGNPST

I think you can, check with member undacova. I think he posted that it could be done. I just use it for updating prl's.

Just for future reference all programming can be done with QPST service programming. You might need to fake walking thru the *228 programming with metro to acquire your MIN #, but you don't need access to the hidden programming menu in the stock rom to program.

Get the phone back to a semi-working state with the unbrick from lg screen thread and then check and see if your MEID and phone # are correct, let me know the status and I'll help you get going. Dont wait for the battery to die like that tutorial states, instead unplug phone remove battery, then hold down the impossible button combo(a 3rd hand goes a long way here) then plug the battery in while still holding down the buttons.

I was saying you don't need to downgrade or flash a stock rom to do service programming.

If you want/need to downgrade you will have to use LGNPST. I know of no other way around that.

QPST is for service programming and such, it can't change anytihing to do with the rom, it only does it's thing in the programming partition.

Oh Ok, thank you for that info cause i wasn't sure. Can you help the guy that started this thread? He's looking for help with LGNPST.
 
I would suggest downloading and installing LGNPST via the way outlined in joneidys unbrick from lg screen thread.

I have no clue how people have so many issues with LGNPST, install the damn thing and register the dll, lol. My computer does not run anti-virus or UAC, so all I can suggest is disable all that crap before trying...

ok im gettin pissed... i keep getting error 1721 when installing components from lgnpst. n another error when i try n uninstall whats there. wiped vista home premium 2doo this n i dunno wassup. it worked on my son's laptop n he gots vista also but he 64 bit n home comp's 32. can dat b y?
firewall off n basically comp got a fresh install. with plenty of space-was planin on runin virtual box w/ win 7, too but with this issue, i dunno what to do...
