miui is up and running, couldnt have done it without you man
also, for anyone lurking this thread, you need to re-root after flashing this rom, and if anyone knows how, that would be pretty helpful, superoneclick cannot find the device

NO! MIUI has root. Do you not see superuser as an app? If MIUI had no root, it would not even work! Half its system apps require root.
What got you to think MIUI has no root? Get titanium backup or something and watch as it asks for root permissions succesfully. And if not, then just go to market and download superuser app.

If I were you I would use xda forums. These are drying down a bit and very slow now. Just wait till the ota gb update it will burst with development once again
