Help Market 3.2.0 problem?

I'm not sure if this happens on all versions or just on this one.
For example if I do a search for "root" market returns 3917 results.
However I can only scroll through the top 20.
I cannot see any way of advancing the results list on to see the subsequent matches.
 
Same here hawker.

Can't remember if it was like this on earlier Markets. :confused:

UPDATE

Actually, if you input, say, "phone" as the search parameter you are told there are 59,257 results and about 75 results are shown. To be fair, I think if I was offered the full 59,257 results, I would lose the will to live after the first 200 or so.
 
I can't remember neither butty. Perhaps a resident market 3.1.5 expert on here could give this a try to confirm? :)

Well, I had more issues with 3.1.5; very slow and loading endlessly. Happily, this was solved when I updated to 2.3.5. If only all results from search would appear, it would be perfect!

Argh not that way I've tried it 3 times and it just reverted back to 3.1.5

Been a busy old day today. Here, there and everywhere. Only just finished dinner!

However, I have been monitoring all your antics! ;)

Speaking of Dom Joly, I saw him in Cirencester not too long ago.

Did you install 3.1.5 as an .apk originally? If so, try uninstalling the update in market before trying to install 3.2.0.

Back OT now kiddies. :D

The search should behave in the same way as the standard market when you go into a category. It loads the first screen full and if you start to scroll down, it automatically loads the next batch.

Strange why it doesnt do this on the search screen.
A bug/oversight perhaps?
 
I had the same problem with 3.1.5. To show all the apps you have to press where it says x amount of results. Don't know if its the same on 3.2 as haven't tried it yet.

I think its google's way of making you put in more specific searches so it reduces traffic on their servers.
Perhaps this is why my market has been behaving itself flawlessly with regards to connection over the last week or so.

You would think they would have it as an option in the settings to switch off/on?

How did you instal it? I moved the phonesky.apk to systems/apps, renamed it Vending.apk then changed the permissions to this

Works perfectly for me if I press the amount of results.
 
Installed it corerctly.

Are your getting mixed up with the initial click on results? ie:

Do a search for root
brings up a screen of 2 apps and 2 books
i press the "3918 results" text alongside apps
this expands to 20 apps

and thats it. 20 and no more! :(
 
Ha, I feel stupid I scrolled half way down the page and assumed it worked. I might have to all Sydney for the trophy back.
 
There is a com.android.vending file that also needs renaming as well as doing all f the above.
I can't remember which folder its in off the top of my head.
