Help Screen on during call

Hey guys,
My HTC Sensation used to turn screen off during call while phone was next to my ear. I don't know what happened, but now during call screen stays on even when I am holding phone next to my ear. This is causing battery drain.
Also what I noticed recently, when I dial someone Phone vibrates once when call connected.
Anyone experienced same issues? How to fix?

Sounds like the proximity sensor is not working right. Have you tried a factory reset?

This is a feature. It allows you to hold phone away from your ear while ringing and just put it to your ear when you know the person has picked up. To remove I think it is menu > settings > sound > untick vibrate

Sounds like the proximity sensor is not working right. Have you tried a factory reset?

Nope, i havent tried factory reset, i dont want factory reset it as i will loose all my settings. Is it any other way to check or reset proximity sensor?

There are some apps on the market place that let u check if ur proximity sensor is working. Try searching proximity sensor on the market place.
