Help gingerbread help

So my TB is still running the old firmware. I go to check for new software update on phone and it will not find it and I never got a popup on my TB to download gingerbread. Is there anyway I can "force" download it to my phone.
 
If you really want to install it, you can search for the RUU and manually install it. It'll wipe your phone. If you install the RUU you will still get all updates that VZW pushes out.

Not neccessarily. The updater scripts checks for certain versions in order to apply the ota. I *think* you will get the ota if you manually install the 2.12.605.3 RUU,as it was (briefly) an officially released version.

If you choose to apply an earlier RUU,you will likely get no OTA.

I'd pretty strongly reccomend running revolutionary to become s-off before applying any RUUs or PG05IMG files.

That way if you find that it sucks,you can always go backwards and apply an older version. If you stay s-on you'll be stuck.
