Extended revolution battery arrived

I was just laughin' 'cause after I read your post I had to do a double take at the pic before I noticed that it was just the covers. Sh*t, If this phone was that thin I'd be afraid I might break it!

is ok . trust me the phone that made me scared to use was my ex's razor back when it was in style .

16 hours 45 minutes 22% battery left and that is the end because i dont want to stay up anymore. But it is easy to see the improvement from the stock battery. Even though it makes the phone heavier and bigger i no longer have to worry about it dying on me.

I also have the stock battery so technically i have 4500mAh

Ok. For some reason I cannot figure this out.

Normally when you put a battery in, you put the hard cover back on the back which usually covers most of the back of the phone.

Does that part of the case open up solely for the battery? Otherwise I don't see how the extended cover works.

The battery covers the entire back of the phone including the sdcard and sim card. The extended battery is twise the size so it sticks out the back so a bigger back is needed

I see. Thanks for posting the video it really cleared things up. I'm hoping by black friday the price will go down 50 bucks or so. That way I'll be able to buy the battery up front instead of waiting for my rebate.

UNLESS... they sell it at Best Buy for the post-rebate price.

Glad the video helped. Unfortunate news for the Best Buy/Rebate price situation. I hear Best Buy won't be offering the phone with the $100 discount, and I got this right from the MetroPCS rebate form: Offer valid only at participating MetroPCS stores and MetroPCS dealer stores. offer not valid at best buy or walmart

Form available here, the Best Buy info is in the fine print.

Hey guys Thanks to jrocivxx. you can get the Esteem for $248.88 from wirefly. here the link he gave me:
LG Esteem for MetroPCS - Wirefly.com

Just let you know guys, if you want to get extended battery for Esteem, just go to Verizon store. There is a sale for Revolution extended battery and i just got mine for only 25$. Regular price was 49.99$.

There is a a "slightly" extended battery (1800 mah) that does not need a special cover. so, you can use regular holsters, cases for this phone.

25 bucks was good enough of a deal for me to get one. Will probably only use it on long trips though cause standard battery usually lasts me all day during the week anyway. Good find Trahald

""Mugen Battery will last 1.2 times as long!""

Mugen claims it last 1.2x longer than the original one.

If it last 1.5x, I will probably buy.. maybe I am expecting too much?
