Root Question: From Apex1.4.1 to Apex2.0 RC4

I want to upgrade from apex 1.4.1 to Apex2 RC4

If I follow this guide, Simple Gingerbread .602 SBF and Root Process (Updated 9.9.11)

will it work?

yes it will work, or you can just flash the prerooted .602 ota and then flash apex rc4

Can't you just flash the one AIO ApeX file? I'm wondering because I haven't been around the X community for about 7 months and things have changed alot from what I did with it back on froyo. The reason I'm looking into this is to update the X for my wife.
