Looking for an app that stops screen timeout

when my Eris is plugged into a car charger. I hate having to change the setting each time I get in or out of the car. I would even settle for a widget that allowed me to toggle this setting. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I wonder if the tip that I found here yesterday would be useful to you.

>settings>applications>development>stay awake
 
screebl is the ticket. Can set it to keep the screen awake when on a call or can set the screen to stay awake when it is at a certain degree of angle (ie goes to sleep when it is flat but stays awake when it is held in hand or propped up on something to watch a video). Set it once and forget it.
