If the iPhone 4S had come with a 4
I'm a Sprint employee and Epic 4G Touch ambassador. I've not had any call drop issues to date, having had my E4GT since 2 weeks before launch. I have read about this issue on this forum and one other forum; re: reported call drop issues. We are taking these reported issues to note and will be reporting them back to Samsung for review, and if validated fixed in the first MR release. No date yet for MR1 as we are still gathering feedback. If you have specific examples of signal dropout (by signal level not just "bars" of strength on top) send me a PM and I will pass the data along. Thanks.
are you sure that the SE4GT has Gorilla glass? I checked the site and they only show the SGS2 on GSM and when I checked the Samsung page it did not say anything about Gorilla Glass on it, but I am human and I could be wrong, but I don't think so...
CORNING
Here's a head to head between the SGS2 and the iphone 4s looking at real world stuff instead of benchmarks:
Comparison: iPhone 4S vs. Samsung Galaxy S II (Video)
2 different networks and that's not even a US Galaxy. Wouldn't mind seeing the Sprint IPhone 4s against the ET4G
It was tested using Wifi. Only difference should be the screen size of the SGSII as the ET4G has 4.52" screen
Gsm phones, especially the Euro versions are way different then the CDMA Phones here in the US.

The euro SGS2 and the Epic Touch both have the same CPU, GPU, screen resolution and the test was conducted over wifi so the cellular radios are taken out of the equation. While there may be some slight differences they should be minimal.
I don't think the Epic Touch has Gorilla glass, I had a little scratch on the screen of mine within a week, my Evo screen is still perfect
never had a lost call, missed text, or missed email..
if you never customize your phone, and don't mind being locked in to Apples functionality and restrictions, then get the iPhone
otherwise, this phone is the best one in the marketplace, without doubt..

I wonder why your battery life was not up to par with what you expected. After using the Epic 4G Touch for a month... I can say without a doubt that it has the best battery life of any Android phone I've ever used. In fact, the great battery life I've been getting is one of my favorite features of the phone. With my past 3 Android's the battery life with frustrate me all the time.. On the Epic 4G Touch... its been never been an issues. The battery life as surpassed all my expectations.
I agree that the new Nexus is not a good enough reason to jump ship. Other than the 720 screen resolution, nothing really seems to be a breakthrough.
Ah ok, I thought there were some differences.

I expected it to be more like the international SGS II where people were getting 2 days out of them with moderate use. Or at least better than my EVO 3D which is was certainly not. Not a big difference, but the 3D is better. I hardly ever have to charge it during the day. I had to charge that Epic Touch almost every day to last given the exact same usage.
Plus the auto brightness keeps the phone on almost full dim. The lower the brightness, the grainier everything looks on the screen, I couldn't take that so I upped the brightness to slightly below half and the battery life was ever worse.
maybe thier was something wrong with the one you had. cause my GS2 has way better batt life than my evo3d and my old photon.
....All of the radios are also weak, the weakest of any of the Android phones in my house (EVO 3D, EVO, OG EPIC) which I think contributes to the poor battery life.
If Samsung fix the LOS issue and poor reception issue, I will buy another one, if not, oh well.
