ics

Why not haxor your phone, and run a custom ROM that are available at XDA Developers. I've had Gingerbread since the day I got my phone. I have no doubt that the people over at XDA will port over Icecream Sandwich.

good Question and i have a good answer.
this is a company phone and all the roms out there do not yet have full unbugged capabilities for att.

and i need a fully functioning phone, :(

Stick with froyo for a little then. It has everything working, but just letting you know att is going to release gingerbread for our phones anyday now. Ics may be coming, if not then sorry guys i am moving to thr galaxy nexus. This phone is a beast, and my parents will be getting it, which then ill probably change phones with them. Ics is supposed get rid of most of the fragmentation, but idk if itll happen, but ics is supposed to work on most devices. When it is released, i will start my rom development, and promise i will try to get it over on the infuse.

What worries me with the infuse is that if has static buttons and in ICS the buttons are virtual. I am not sure how that plays out or if it means that the infuse does not get ICS.

Lol all phones out now have capacitative buttons, no virtual. Other.devices like the gs2 will get it definitly, just without those on screen buttons. The infuse may get ics, but if people really want it like me probably just installing a custom rom will be the only way.
