Doh!! Rooted phone but now cannot place calls!

Rooted my AT&T Samsung GS2 using Entropy512's "stock rooted kernal" (link in 2nd post)

Extracted their .zip and used Odin 1.85 to flash using their "stock rooted system kernal" Next I installed ClockWorks Recover Manager and installed Cyanogen 7.10

That is all installed now but I cannot place a phone call!

I have 4-5 bars and it shows my service is AT&T, but when I try to make a call it acts like it is getting ready to dial then it disconnects and says "Radio Off"

I can still send/receive txts, and have access to the net.. just not able to make calls.

Anyone know why this is occurring and how can I fix it? My original kernel baseband was a UCKH7 as well, it is now showing my baseband as XXKH3.

This is why I am hesitant to root my phone. Even though I would love to get rid of the crap on it I dont want. Good luck....wish I could help...

(1) dont root just because you think you need it
(2) if you want to root your phone, do some homework. With a little research (literally 1 minute of reading) you will find the necessary steps to do it properly.

keep in mind that rooting in itself doesnt really do much. It just unlocks the ability for you to screw up your phone if you dont pay attention.

Over at XDA-Developers, they have different modems available for download including UCKH7.

Try a different Modem

keep in mind that rooting in itself doesnt really do much. It just unlocks the ability for you to screw up your phone if you dont pay attention.

XXKH3 is for international version of our phone.

I have the same issue but mine only happened after I installed a darky ROM, I think it may have been a ROM ment for the international version. But now I cannot make or recieve calls but everything else works well. I even tried installing ICS but no dice. Did your GS2 resume working?

Change your modem to new Cm9 #2 thru #7 check em all to see which ones best. Also check APN.
