Esteem Warranty Exchange Problem

So guys, I went to the metro store last week to ask for a Warranty Replacement (phone was turninf off randomly) and they told me I'd be receiving a new phone. When I went to go pick it up today, they activated it, blah, blah, blah....

When I dialed ##786# on my phone>went to "view detail">Scrolled down to Reconditioned Status, it says "Unknown".

Does anybody know what this means? Can you guys check on your phones to see if it says the same thing?

All of the brand new Esteems say Unknown (including mine)...pretty sure you're wasting your time by checking this menu since they probably don't modify the information here whether or not it's a reconditioned phone

I dont think they gave you a refurbished phone. An initial order of 5% of all ordered handsets by Metro is set aside for replacements. Once these run out they will start refurbishing. I doubt they ran out of new devices for replacements since the phone is only 3 weeks old.
