I started deleting bloatware using Titanium Backup and now my settings button doesn't work, it's there but when I click on it it does nothing. It disappeared from the Home screen and also my google talk is gone! I did a factory reset but the settings button didn't come back. Please help.

Check out hroark's Odin thread and download the rooted EE14 version if you want to keep root privelages. If not, there is a stock version available also. Hroark put up the instructions for use also. It'll fix you right up and take care of your issues.

Is there a link you can provide me with? Thanks

I'm not currently at my computer. I'm using my phone, so linking isn't possible right now. Just click over into the "All things root" section, and the Odin thread will be the 3rd or 4th thread down.

thats what happens when you start messing with your phone. its better to leave that to the pro. lol oh well lesson learned. ps dont worry ive messed up my phone before too. theres a software to download tho that backs your phone to your pc and you can use those files to restore it with odin. then you dont have to start all over.

We all had to learn the hard way!!!!, LOL. All I can say is a big thank-you to hroark for his version of Odin and Clockworkmod.

Guys, the initial problem was fixed, but now I'm getting this "Google Talk authentication failed" message and can't download anything from the Market. It stays at "Starting download" and doesn't go anywhere from there. Any ideas? Thanks!

There are 3 or 4 threads scattered about amongst the Prevail section dealing with this exact problem. I've dealt with it once, and i fixed my issue by Odining back to stock EE13, and then allowing the phone to update to EE14 over the air. Afterwards, I oneclicked to get root back, and then i installed Shabby.09.
