@Parish; Nope, Battlelog is the only way, and unless it has some massive flaw that nearly breaks the game, its quite unlikely it will be removed.

@jikhead; The WOT ratings for that site are pretty bad, and one of the comments mentions that the games they sell are illegal, so I wouldn't risk it.
 
Is Gamestop the only place offering the Heavy Weapons Kit? It seems everyone has the limited edition with the map kit, and Best Buy has the Spectra Kit.
 
If your buying this just for single player... Just rent it.. Story was insanely short and easy even on the hardest settings... Not to mention it was a bad story. :(
 
Has only gotten to download their extra content stuff yet? I bought B3 from Gamestop last night; was just curious when I should expect to get my email w/the code to download my heavy weapons pack. I'm guessing it will come sometime later this week after the game officially releases Tuesday.

I have never bought a pc game at gamestop, but console games always have the code printed on the receipt.
 
I already got the game download code and have it pre-installed today. Was just curious about that extra heavy weapons pack.
 
Did you already get the actual game, CD and everything? It should be in the case with the CD, if you did and it isn't, Gamestop probably wasn't offering that.

Ya I understand that.. :confused: The codes for preorder junk have always been on my physical or emailed receipt.

What he said above^^^^^. I didn't buy the cd; I did a digital download, received the game key via email, preloaded. Just waiting to receive my extra weapons and ammo, which will likely come later in the week...and I've probably answered my own question as that's the likely scenario here.
 
i am getting the heavy weapons kit too, but are these things you will naturally be able to get along the way or are they really exclusive?

From what I read, most seem to think it is something that everyone will either be available or accessible in-game as you advance. Who know's for sure. I would tend to think both are likely/possible. However, I wanted those extra weapons and ammo right from the get go.

I downloaded earlier within Origin. I noticed it's file size was about 2 GB smaller than the installer within Gamestop's app installer. So I deleted the previous one and re-installing right now the Gamestop one.
 
OK, I just read over on the Gamestop Downloader app forum (while downloading), and an admin said the extra heavy weapons pack will be sent out via a separate email as soon as the game launches Tuesday.

As for the installer being 2GB larger, he/she stated they didn't know why it was larger, that that was just what EA Games sent them. So now I regret uninstalling it and going to reinstall the version in Origin since it may be using less disk space.
 
Just played a few rounds. Man, that's a fun game. I need to learn how to be more effective at vehicles though.

I'm also surprised my Nvidia 9600GT is able to play it, granted everythings on Low, but still. Can't wait for a few more pay checks to get a 560GTX and more ram and get the settings pumped up.

I hear ya...I couldn't get in a multiplayer game last night, servers too dam busy. But when I played today, I got into that F-18 for the first time. I made a full circle around the Caspian map and went in to strafe a flag zone.....crashed that sucker right into a hill with trees and rocks. I was laughing my ass off though.
 
Can you do private matches somehow? I want to practice flying things.

Ya I am xbox :( I found an empty server earlier but it forces you to sit there and wait till you get at least 6 people. W/e I guess. lol

I just did not want to be the guy that takes off and promptly crashes right back into the ground. lol
