Help Idly wondering if rooting could turn on the LED light...

I see a couple of small circles inbetween the forward-facing camera and earpiece, so I'm wondering first if those are supposed to be LED lights that are disabled, and if so, could rooting allow me to use those?

ones probably a light sensor the other is probably a proximity sensor.

Yeah one of them is how your phone tells if its bright out or dark, for when your screen's brightness is on "automatic." The other one is for when you're on a phone call so the phone can tell if its up to your ear or not.

No led notification lights on the AT&T version.

i actually noticed that there is a faint red light in between the secondary camera and the light sensor. make a call with ur phone in a dark room or cover the area with your hand and you will see a faint red light.

That's the proximity sensor. I just did it. Cover just that red light, and screen goes off. Move your finger, screen comes on.
