Root Nandroid Question

I recently switched over to LibertyD3 RC1 from Steel droid 3. I forgot to backup my contacts before doing so and I had a few contacts that were not saved on Google. So my question is, can i nandroid the Liberty Rom I have installed and then restore to my last nandroid of steel droid, and then be able to easily nandroid back to Liberty. There are so many differences in the roms I am just not sure if it will work.

If you mean, Back up Liberty, Recover Steel, Dump contacts, Restore Liberty, import contacts. Then yes!

I've done it with Steel Droid, Stock and CM7 Alpha.

A bit off the topic, but don't you have to use SafeBootStrap to deal with CM7 Alpha, but that Bootstrap system doesn't support SteelDroid3 as of yesterday ?

I'd love to switch back and forth trying different ROM's, but I am using Koush's Droid3Bootstrapper tweaked by HashCode. HashCode is telling folks on the XDA forum not to use that with CM7 Alpha, to use SafeStrap instead and I don't know how to go from Droid3Bootstrapper to SafeStrap.

I am on SafeStrap, It doesn't quite play nice with SteelDroid (had a few bootloops and a little trial and error) But it may be because I tweaked my Data Partition and that caused Steel to Bootloop, just nuked data and restored steel and worked! . Uninstall the Bootstraper like any other app, then use the Safe Strap App
