Help Usb Device Not Recognized

So I just got a replacement Revo after my prior one stopped charging. The old one had no problems connecting with either of my computers. The new one constantly gets a pop up that says "Usb Device Not Recognized" when I plug it into my computers.

I tried deleting the drivers from my computer and restarting and then plugging in the phone again and reloading the drivers and still get the same result. The weird thing is that the computer can still locate the SD card in the phone and I can open it and see pictures. It is just annoying that I get this popup every 30 seconds or so.

Anyone know a fix for this?

Same here, it still seems to work, but the popup is seriously annoying. I've tried downloading the universal drivers from LG as well, and still get the popup, but I can use ADB. Go figure.

On the phone at the top in the "title bar", pull down the USB symbol. You should see 4 options. You need to change this from MASS STORAGE DEVICE to INTERNET. There is something about CHARGING ONLY and MEDIA SYNC if I recall. Once you change this to INTERNET CONNECTION and hit DONE, Windows should see the ADB INTERFACE. If you've already installed the driver, then it will find it. If you haven't, you'll need to download a USB driver.
