Please STOP posting misinformation. You have no idea what the new phone will have inside. You cant create your own reality and believe that it is real. Thats not a way to live life....
LOL i think you and I may have the same problem then. Come hop on my dragon and we will fly away.
But in all seriousness I am just going off of the most reliable info out there. The article I linked which discusses the specs for the HTC Incredible is in my opinion the most credible article out there. He predicted the appearance spot on several weeks before the leaked photos. The only BS that I may have posted is the non-removable battery which is based on my own assumption.

Just figured out that this may not actually be newradio posting as it is not his original account. So if this is a joke account, sorry for taking you seriously.

I'll have to change my theory and just wait for the final product of the Incredible. However, I am glad you made this thread. Very interesting about what people are saying.

^I completely agree, it is still entirely too early to choose the winner, but it is never to early to ponder our options and discuss them. I thought it would be interesting to hear various opinions and discussion regarding the two phones and which to choose and why.

Just curious...

Minus the red back on the incredible, and possibly not having a family plan option for the nexus...I like the nexus.

What exactly does sense provide that the nexus doesn't? I'm confused, but "sense" seems to be a major factor in a lot of peoples decisions. Whats the scoop?

Side note: I know a lot of people prefer the sense keyboard, myself as well. Is there anything OTHER than that, that draws people to sense??

Pretty HTC widgets and the pretty home screen indicator at the bottom. I like how the indicator has a built in phone button though the built in add a widget button is a waste. I believe it also has a better media player, but I didn't play with the photo viewer compared to the n1.

I do like what Google is trying to do. I do not like a phone only going to one service and not the others. I want to pick phone and a then a service of my choosing. The only thing I see hurting Google is the fact of people depend on their phone, and can not think about going without them for any length of time. That is why I will be choosing the INCREDIBLE

Sense is also incredibly (no pun intended) optimized, so no matter how many widgets you have, it is always very smooth.

^talking about return/exchange with google/HTC for a defective device. Very different than walking into verizon and walking out with a replacement.

With the nexus one, you either send yours in, or they charge you a certain amount as a holder so they can send a replacement-then you send yours back.

I admit, this is very important. but so is the phone i get. i am leaning towards the nexus due to live wallpaper, 3d app page, earlier updates, form factor, and googles multi-touch(which i have heard is better than HTC's version).

I'm dying to be able to place my money down on either on the Verizon Network! I'm currently running with an original N1 on the AT&T network, not having 3G is difficult. I would switch to T-Mobile, but their 3G network is awful on coverage. I prefer to wait and only port my number once to Verizon.

Me too, though I'm leaning towards the Nexus One right now. I've been dying to pick up a smart phone, in general, since September, but Verizon apparently isn't in any rush to make more money off me, contrary to their 4Q 2009 earnings report.

So what are your guys' opinions of which will be released first? Since the Nexus One is rumored for end of next month, do you think the Incredible will come to VZW before or after? Just wondering what everyone thinks.

In my own little world:

-Verizon supports the nexus in-house
-You can use upgrade discounts
-They have working units for you to play with
-Available on any calling plans
-$199.

Not sure if this is correct. based on fiscal year:

  • 1st Quarter: October 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009
  • 2nd Quarter: January 1, 2010 - March 31, 2010
  • 3rd Quarter: April 1, 2010 - June 30, 2010
  • 4th Quarter: July 1, 2010 - September 30, 2010

+1....This would be cellular utopia for me.

When does Verizons 2nd quarter begin and end?.. Just curious if anyone knows

Well, with respect to releases, I'm pretty sure quarters are based on the calendar year. Apr-Jun would be Q2.

Nexus one has the noise cancellation feature which is really good if you have a phone interview. Incredible better have this feature too and the flip clock widget better have weather animation since it is a htc sence proprietary feature. I can't choose which phone until it comes out to verizon.

All I know is with all the problems I have heard about with the Nexus, I am leaning towards an Incredible because I can't be without my phone for 4 or 5 days to mail it in for a replacement to come in the mail.

WOW some strange assumptions here... Has Verizon ever sold a device they did not allow purchased under the upgrade? Not that I am aware of.

Is Verizon Selling the Nexus one or is google? I thought Google.

Google. People are hoping that will change when the N1 gets to Verizon but I highly doubt it. Then the questions becomes do upgrades for Verizon customers work through Google. Also will Family plan members be able to buy at a subsidized price.
