Anyone tried LolBoot?

V2.0 app is now available which includes modified siyahkernel so you can run ASOP and stock roms.
I am now running MIUI as my primary and XWKJ2 (stock) as my secondary.
I tried running CCR2 as my secondary but for some reason it would not work, I just kept getting boot loop.

Note - Caching the secondary OS takes a long time so bare with it (only needs to be done once). At the minute it seems you cant install apps from the market on the secondary OS so if you need any make sure to have them installed when you cache or install from memory.

what benefits are there of having a dual boot? I can understand if one was android and the other was windows for example but this just seems like doing something because you can rather than for any benefit

I just have cwm backups of the roms I use, which currently are dlev and checkrom rev.I've never tired this software but it probably gives you a quicker way of doing this. I'm happy sticking with cwm backups for now.

It benefits me because I like using MIUI but it does not support MHL, so when I want to use MHL I just boot into the secondary rom.

Yes its just takes the amount of time it would for a normal reboot. Also it has the benefit that any apps you install or any changes you make are still there next time you reboot as opposed to CWM where you would have to make a new backup for any apps or changes you added.
