Help How do i access the stock recovery menu?

I read that you hold down the volume UP and DOWN key and the power button. I did that and released when the LG logo came up but nothing happened. It just booted up the phone as usual. Any help would be appreciated

Hold the center of the volume buttons down adn hold the power for about 3 seconds until it vibrates then release the power and continue to hold the vol keys. Then it will take you to a black screen with writing and then tap the power button twice or go to the settings menu and select Privacy and select Factory reset.
 
Oh. Well is there any way to calibrate the touchscreen? I posted a topic about this. I saw on youtube another guy with the same problem. When tilting the phone left into landscape mode, the bottom row of keys are completely insensitive to touch when touching near the bottom. It's an annoying issue and i can't seem to find many people who have the same problem besides said youtube guy.

Try a factory restore, it fixed my tablet that had that problem
 
also do you have a screen protector on your phone? that also will affect the touch depending on what type of protector you using.

lol I just replied to your other topic on this issue. I have the problem but I do not think there is a way to fix it, at least yet. Maybe someone should post on the official LG Esteem forum and maybe a tech can report the problem to someone who can look into this....

try better keyboard 8 and see if problem still exist, but i really recommend slide it keyboard from market, but i got mines from amazon free app of the day.
 
I just got the phone today so i don't know if i got the update or not but my SW Version is ZVB


Uhhhh I would take it back, I had mine replaced this morning on the spot for a different issue. I mean you havent even had it 24 hours and theres already an issue.

When i had mine replaced this morning, I bought it on Thursday, they tried to tell me they had to order one even tho they had them in stock, (this was at a corporate store), just throw a "fit" with a "Are you f@#$%% serious?!" If they say they have to order one even tho they have them in stock. Thats how I got mine on the spot. Ahaha They told me they had to order one because the ones they had in stock were a different inventory then the ones they replace with. Which I think is just stupid and youll probably end up getting a repaired or refurbished one if they order it.

here where i'm at all there replacement phones are brand new since no one has return for an exchange.
 
Im not sure about here. But I when I went to the store that I bought it from which had none in stock because I bought the last one thrusday he was going to replace it on the spot with one he had but he didnt have any since I got the last one he had. But he's a franchise, I guess the corp stores are *suppose* to do it that way and order one.

yep, but metro is so un organize there aint no telling what they will do. ;)
