In Texas they denied someone's "LVTOFU" vanity plate. Can you decipher what it means? Hint: The person who requested this plate doesn't like meat....

Technically being that it's available in Europe?
Speaking of....another feature that really has me looking closer at the Razr is it has "HDMI Mirroring mode", which is "fancy speak" for HDMI out. The Thunderbolt didn't have this when it came out, and I think it STILL doesn't have this feature. If the Rezound doesn't have a video out/HDMI out I think that will definitely compel me to look at the Razr.
And there's NO WAY I'm paying $150 for an accessory to get video out from an HTC phone.... HTC Media Link DLNA Adapter DG H100
The Thunderbolt was my first dive into the Android world. I remember seeing the first Android phone but I was hoping Winmo wasn't going to offer up as much suckage as it did....
When I was younger I also got a Turbo Grafx 16 instead of a Nintendo system....
I turned down a 2 week contract position last year that I found out later turned into an $80,000 a year full time job....
The next woman I meet, I think I'm going to tell her, "Hi my name is George, I'm unemployed and live with my parents...."
I currently own a Droid X. I'm eligible for an upgrade with a $30 credit at Verizon. I've been looking at the Rezound, Razr and Galaxy Nexus.
I saw somebody mention "wireless charging" for the Rezound. Is that true? If so, how does it work?
I probably won't be upgrading til around February or March. I just got other stuff going on and trying to save up. Besides, who knows what will be out by then.

I have recently (tonight) started to look at the Rezound as a optional choice for the big three phones coming out soon. I can't help but notice the fewer posts the Rezound seems to be getting vs the Nexus and Razr. The screen quality is a huge factor for me and when I first heard of the Rezound I noticed it was only SLCD and that immediately turned me off, but after seeing the Razr in person I decided that the video even though it was leaps and bounds better than Moto's previous screens it still wasn't near as sharp as the Demonic iPhone.
So when I discovered the Rezound had a higher pixel density than the iPhone 4 the SLCD didn't sound so bad.
Droid Razr*Pixel Density 256
Galaxy Nexus Pixel Density 316
iPhone 4*Pixel Density 326
HTC Rezound*Pixel Density 342

does anyone know of a comparison sheet that has the camera specs on the three android phones and the Iphone4S?
Bottom line...is it all worth it?? Rezound seems like a beast phone, and the one I want out of the Big 3 soon to release, but I almost wish HTC/VZW was releasing something more in line with the Vivid as well. Or that VZW would be a little more real with their price. How do they justify $200 increase? Thoughts?
As far as Beats are concerned, unless you like bass artificially dominating all of your tunes, they are not a good option. Seems HTC should have went for a lower price- sans the Beat branding.
I think you might be underestimating the youth of this country Rush. I mean think about it, they could have saved some money going with a different company or not doing the music branding at all but the fact is kids/young adults will pay insane money for things. Hip hop is a huge genre now a days and it's primarily associated with the young. These are the same people who have no problem paying $200 for a new pair of tennis shoes. They are buying Beats Pro headphone($499) just to show off to their friends. Of course they end up getting BEAT down by those friends and the headphones get stolen but that's another matter..lol. I think it wasn't a bad choice to go with them(meaning Beats) for name regognition it just really depends on how they go about the marketing of it and what they do with the product. If they are smart and use this as a launching board for new BETTER beats products then it's a win/win. If they get greedy and think hey it's selling so why increase production cost by adding R&D cost or actual integrated hardware into the phone that will help the sound of our product, then it will probably be a short lived fad.
The best answer I can give you is they don't really care if you like the increase or not. As long as the people still pay it, it's not going anywhere. Yes people may complain when they pay but they still pay..lol. After you get rid or all the PR such as hey this device has this or that it all breaks down to them wanting this to be the new LTE standard price. Until some company breaks the trend successfully and they are forced to match it they will continue to sit in their offices lighting cigars with $100 bills swearing that they are in touch with the common man and are looking out for your best interest.

speaking of the over the ear beats headphones....i see people in my gym wearing those all the time while they work out and they look extremely stupid doing that. IF any of you here do that i'm sorry but that is just silly.
I mean come on man do you really think people go to the gym to work out???? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And of course, since they are "Beats" and Dre who is paid to sponsor says they are great and marketing pushes it, the more gullible will say they sound great. Then again, everything is relative, so if the user is used to $10 buds, the Beats would sound great.
True enough. I have never been the type to spend a lot of money on headphones in the past. I usually bought a device and whatever headphones came with it is what I used. I do remember buying a new mp3 player and making an attempt to not let cost limit me so much when it came to potential sound quality benefit. At the time the buzz for "decent" ear buds was Shure. So I forked out $100 for some Shure Esc's. I couldn't wait for them to arrive. They came. I plugged them in and listened to them that whole day and though the night. The next day I put the cheap ear buds back in. The $100 Shures sound like doo doo. I occasionally used then when I had to drive at work(noisy industrial environment) but otherwise they were a complete waste of money. I do however consider that to be 1 example and not necessarily the norm for paying for a high end item.
Shures are hard to get a good seal, so do tend to sound bad as a result. Not a fan of Sure buds. Ditto for Beats, but at least they are easy to get a seal.
