Help Proximity sensor??

Is there a proximity sensor on these phones?
I looked in the settings and saw nothing.

Its really annoying to be on a call and my face is pressing buttons while I'm talking. Even more so when I was trying to call my bank and my face was making the wrong selections in the automated answering section

There is a sensor. I've had difficulties with mine, although I primarily attribute that to my case partially obstructing the sensor. If you are using a case, try removing it an see if that helps.

Removed my case and its the same. I put the screen to my face and it hits the keys. Why is there no settings for it?

That's strange because I don't have this issue at all and I have the X2 in a shell case.

Are you on a custom ROM or stock? Could be something in the custom ROM? I'm on stock and have a case and don't have a problem with it.
