When using GO SMS PRO or HANDSENT SMS, does anyone else receive duplicate messages for almost every received text?

When using GO SMS PRO or HANDSENT SMS, does anyone else receive duplicate messages for almost every received text?

I had that issue with my indulge and I was perplex but later on i found out that i forgot to disable the main messenger features that why i was getting duplicate messages. so i would advice you to check your message setting.

I tried that as well, but im still getting the duplicate msgs.

Its the apps and Metro has had an issue with dup text messages. I had GO, Handcent, Chomp almost all of them on my Ascend and I got worse then just a dup I would recieve the same text up to 10 times. I quit using them all and only got a dup maybe 3 or 4 times a week.

Also I actually like the sms layout on the Esteem more then when I customized my own on Handcent, GO SMS, etc. But of course not everyone likes the same thing and thats the beauty of Androids. Not everyone has to have the same thing.

also if you go with go sms enable the pro mode, been running go sms pro since i first got my phone and no duplicates.
