I do miss the Thunderbolt release days where you'd get some mysterious blogger that claimed he was an HTC insider and would post up some small tidbits of information. My favorite though had to be the Best Buy dweebs that would come in and tell us that they checked their inventory and they saw their inventory of Thunderbolts, and managed to sneak one out but can't take pics. No offense to all of you geek squaders out there, but when you've heard enough of them tell you things like, "Progressive scan DVD players put out 1080p", or "our $65 charge for configuring an Xbox to work wirelessly is a fair price", or "Monster HDMI cables are far superior to regular HDMI cable even for just 6 feet", you tend to discredit their knowledge. Doesn't help that a lot of them are fresh out of high school and think they're Neo from the Matrix when it comes to electronics.

Something I just remembered. With all of the pros & cons for getting/not getting the Rezound, one that has been lost in the shuffle is that HTC is offering 5GB of storage through Dropbox on new android phones.

Not a bad little bonus IMHO.

Also, saw this on phandroid last night.

After checking it out, the Rezound isn't all that bigger than my Inc2. But the Razr & Nexus look quite a bit bigger to me (not looking at thinness).

I remember Amazon was offering something similar if you downloaded their Amazon music player a few months back. I'm still not 100% sold on the cloud. If I want to store something, I'll just use my Ravage USB thumb drive...sigh yeah I'm pretty damn geeky...

What i wanna know is if the extra 3 gigs will be added to my account. My dropbox has just over 18 gigs in it...

Also i heard that the extra 3 gigs only lasted a limited time though i never had that confirmed

I pity you. Your life now has a hollow spot in it. :(

haha, glad I didn't have a beverage with me, I would've spilteded it! Maybe that's why Dark Angel edited my post above cause I hollowed out his "spot" :(

sigh...alright alright... Oh and for the record, I got my 4 GB on Ebay for $8.00 I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go 32 GB on something that ships directly from China.

Will we be able to buy a sim overseas through vodaphone etc, or will we have to buy the verizon plan on this end, to use across the pond?

I haven't seen anything that suggests that this is a global phone. The SIM that's in there is only for data (Verizon's hybrid 4G LTE/3G network). Voice is still CDMA, which will not work overseas. The only thing close to the Rezound that will work overseas and here is the Sensation XE or XL, which is a GSM phone.

Ok I see it now, I don't use removable storage but that is AWESOME!

Must get one now.....

I'm kind of surprised there's no reviews or any more unboxings.

I'm afraid to what the battery life will be like, We know it's battery is 1620 mAh rated at 440 minutes of standby.

The Thunderbolt has a 1400 mAh battery rated at 330 hours standby.

The Razr has a 1780 mAh battery with 780 hours standby.

Here's a link to the WireFly unboxing:

As far as rated battery life, I don't believe them, talk time or standby. I usually wait for the reviewer's battery tests are more telling.

I think it looks slick!

I searched this thread, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if it will have a notification LED? I have a Fascinate which doesn't have one. I use NoLED. It does what its suppose to, but its still frustrating as everything. I'm so ready to be rid of this phone.

In that video, when he plugs it in, a red light comes on (to the left of the FF camera). I believe thats the LED notification light. Cool thats its red to match the styling!

Yes I believe it has a notification light.

*beat me to it

I have business account...so maybe I have more pull....but this isn't the first time I have ordered a device before release date.

If you get the right rep you just need to push them....model number is HTC adr6425

At first she said she couldn't then she said let me check one more system and it let her order.

Good luck guys.

I called and they let me order one!!! I haven't gotten an email confirmation yet but I have an order number and they said it should be here in 2 days!

800-922-0204. I just acted like it was already out and they didn't even question it. lmao

Edit: when I called I hit 4, then said "I want to order a new phone"

lol, good old sales department trying to make sure they get their numbers by selling you a phone before it's out! Even if they can't order it, it's a good strategy, they take your info and once they can order it they just key everything in.

Here's a way to test it, call back and ask a customer service rep to confirm your order. I have 50 that says it's not in the system. THAT'S 50 CENTS BTW!

Well I called back and he said it's "pending shipment" but he wasn't sure when it would ship.

Just as an update...I did receive my tracking number and it is in transit with expected delivery tomorrow before 3.

I will let you know when I receive it.

If you are persistent enough with the sales rep you should be able to get an order in.
