Sweet, that gives me hope! The guy I talked to when I ordered had never heard of the Rezound so he didn't know that it isn't out yet, so he said he thought it would be here in 2 days or so. When I called back to confirm the other guy wasn't sure when it would ship since he knew about the 11/14 release date.

Edit: I haven't gotten my tracking number yet, but I'm curious - does anything show up in your My Verizon account anywhere? I'm not seeing anything. Did you get a confirmation email before the tracking number?

Looking sweet! The only things that might be an issue was the color balance on the photos and the audio shooting the 1080p video, but I'm assuming he left it on auto for the still pics and the audio was due to his video editing.

Battery life sounds like it might be good, but even if it isn't the greatest I'll probably get another battery or go with the extended battery & door. Plus, with the stock battery door and using phonesize.com, it looks like this will have almost indetical dimensions as my Inc2 (except it's taller) so it should feel good in the hand for me. The only thing I will do yet is try it out in the store (and maybe watch for some reviews from the tech blogs) but other than that I think it's mine.:)

It would probably help to know where you live to. I live in Arkansas, and since FedEx's main hub in Memphis, Verizon and nearly everyone in world has a warehouse by the airport. This is where my Incredible shipped from, and had it the next day. I ordered a cable the other day from Newegg and it came w/free 3-day shipping....got it the next day.
 
I finally got my tracking number and it will be shipping today. It says it will get here Frida but I'm hoping for tomorrow. I am near Baltimore, MD. I am still waiting on the email confirmation but I got a text confirmation. I will blur out my phone number and post that up soon. Yay :D

i just tried on the phone, and it would not allow her to order it. she said she tried every way she knows how to get it into the system, but failed. i guess i will wait until monday.

I just got a voicemail AND an email saying it wasn't available and to try the website on Monday or Tuesday. I didn't push it via a phone call though. I had sent an email yesterday, and they just responded this afternoon.

Well lucky you! I will be waiting until Monday I guess :(
 
I just tried too and no dice. On the other hand the guy also claimed the RAZR wouldn't be shipping until the 11th and wouldn't be in stores on the 11th which is blatantly wrong (it says on their web site it will ship by the 10th) so maybe I just need to call back? Has anyone had better success with trying to get this ordered?

SUCCESS!!

you have to give them the ADR for them to be able to order it. ADR6425. i did that, and she was able to figure it out from there. i have an order number and it will email when it ships. she did not say when that would be. but i have an order number, i accepted terms and conditions over the phone as per usual, it's a done deal. i am so hopeful it will ship today. omg, that would rock.

thanks for the info, compchick! and don't forget to use the ADR!

So did you have to play dumb or just go straight for the jugular? Or did you get to the point where you had to say something like "it has to be in there, other people are already ordering it".

Just wondering if the CS rep had any idea really what was going on and that this phone technically isn't supposed to be ordered yet?

i told her i had called earlier, but i didn't have the ADR, so the first rep couldn't find it in the system. i told her she didn't know what i was talking about. that was a total lie. she found it earlier, just couldn't get it to order. this rep was able to do it with the ADR, so i figure that is the missing piece. this is just speculation, though.
