Root SMS Popup over Lock screen on MIUI

I've tried Go and the standard messaging, but neither will pop up the SMS over the lockscreen. They will wake the phone, but only go to the notification bar.

Had anyone found a work around for this?
 
try chomp sms - think there's an option for a quick reply that lets you do this on lock screen, i use chomp (running Oxygen ROM) but not tried this myself
 
I'll see if Chomp Works. Go SMS didn't. Handcent used to work over the sense ROM.

As a matter of interest, has Handcent been pulled? I couldn't see it on the market the other day.
 
Handcent sms, has a quick reply that does what you want, I've been using it for the last 6months and it works great

Yes XJ and I was getting a pop up, it was attached to the top of the screen and had a built in reply window etc.

EDIT: Unless it was only when the phone was unlocked (don't think so but not 100%)
I'll check today if I get a text and let you know.

You were right, it pops up when you unlock the phone.
Sorry for any confusion :-(

Handcent should do what you want.
 
I'm after the same thing but for all apps. Similar to iOS 5 notifications.

Any help would be appreciated.
