Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread and maybe get it sticky'd. It seems many already have the phone in hand and there is discussion/talk getting scattered through out many of the other threads; some where it shouldn't be such as the Official one...as that should really relate to PRE-PURCHASE info.

I think there should be a rule that if you start a thread like this that you have to have one opened and be able to provide some information or else I'm going to start an "HTC quad core" thread somewhere for everyone to post up stuff..... :p

I'm just tired of looking thru 5-10 threads on stuff. Thought it would be simpler if everyone were to post in one thread.

honestly it almost time to close that thread down anyway. once phone is 'officially' out it wont serve any purpose... from there i'd like to see some more organization in the threads that are getting started...

but right now people are excited so i'm not gonna sweat it too much... for now:)

By next week, they'll be a ton of people in here that didn't even have the Rezound on they're Radar. Especially with the GNex not in the mix yet.

If that screen on the Rezound is as nice as people are making out to be, the Razr is going to have problems and people will opt for the Rezound. Only issue I can really see is if its heavy and bulky, and word gets out on battery usage being crap.

Being that I'm kind of a newb, what is the best way to get my apps off my Dinc and transferred to my Rezound?

Before you get your Rezound, download AppBrain from the market, set up an account using your gmail address (I think you do this in the app, it's been awhile), then do a sync. Now all of your apps are saved in your AppBrain account. Then after you activate your new phone, go to the market. Any purchased apps will already be there. Then download AppBrain from the market (you may have to log in again or it may automatically recognize your account, I can't remember for sure) and do a sync. All of your apps should start downloading automatically to your phone. As far as logging in, you use your gmail account as the email address, that way when you get another phone (which is also under your gmail account) it automatically knows which account to use. Like I said it's been awhile since I did it last, so I'll have to do this myself as well.

I've been using Titanium Backup for awhile, that's a good app as well but I can't remember if you need to be rooted in order to use that app effectively. I haven't been "stock" since about May I think (when my first Thunderbolt headaches started...)
