Any new Rezound owners having any issues with the power button? That was the 1st complaint on the Thunderbolt, after a few weeks the button was hiding like shrinkage on a man after he'd been in the pool for awhile....

It's cutting it really close out of the box, if it gives any at all we may have a problem.

I don't suspect it'll go down any further. I think HTC got enough flack from the Thunderbolt's button that they just decided to recede it from the factory. heh I got a kick out of how many people actually took their phone back for that button receding, you could still power it on and off, but it was somewhat of a pain. Considering some of the larger problems the Thunderbolt exhibited, I think the power button was the least of my concerns, but I was curious if HTC decided to stiffen up the button or to just seat it in its "receded" form.

So my phone was just delivered and I've been playing with setting it up. I love the phone so far and especially love being back on Verizon. I have only two small complaints. First, the new font of Sense 3.5 does not seem to be playing well with Swiftkey X. Not sure if there is a way to fix this but the text isn't well aligned in the suggestion boxes. The second is the bloatware. Holy Crap is there a lot of it. I am coming from a Bell Canada phone I imported which had almost none of that and it's really annoying coming back to a phone with so much crap on it.

Yes I agree all that 1 GB of ram is getting eaten up by crap!

It may be the other way around. Remember that is the first Official US device with Sense 3.5 isn't it? (someone please verify) So it may be that Swiftkey X isn't playing well with it. Maybe Swiftkey will update soon based on that.

I'm sure that's the case. It's usable just a bit annoying.

One thing I will say is that I really like the delay they put in from when the screen times out to when you have to reenter a PIN. My work makes me password protect my phone and it's really nice that if the screen goes dark while I am listening to a song I don't have to put my PIN back in to change songs.

I hope you didn't do *228 cause it's a different process with the 4G devices. You should call to get it activated. You can do it online but I'd say go ahead and call.

I had problems with mine too. Call them to help with the activation. It took a bit for it to recognize LTE.

I finally got it activated. I had to call and talk to a rep. No, I didn't try anything. at first I didn't realize I had to put the sim card in it (first 4g device) but once i did it just didn't want to work. they got me hooked up though! So far I love it! It's not too much thicker than the Dinc!

I was afraid to call!! I thought they were going to say, "I'm sorry ma'am, but you shouldn't even have that phone yet, so it can't be activated until Monday!" :D

Yeah.. Dumb. They should talk about what the phone can do... I was afraid they were going to market it this way.

Shame, since the phone is an "A", but the Beats are a "C-". Easily most overrated buds to date. Average at best sound with artificially high bass.

Trust me, Klipsch S4 buds are much better.

Yeah, I don't know what it is but Klipsch just has some damn good audio gear. My nephew's friend had a desktop speaker package from them. They were 2 tall and extremely narrow (width wise) front speakers and a subwoofer. That setup rivaled my home stereo (MTX Home Theater Series 12" 3-ways). The sound that came out of speakers that small was amazing. The bass out of the sub was loud but accurate as well.

After I got my S2's, it felt to me like they took the sound out of that setup and put it in earbuds. The only thing I wish was that the inserts that go in the ear (the clear rubber) had a set one size smaller than the smallest that came with them. Maybe I need to call Klipsch and see if they have a smaller set of inserts that work on the S2's. But other than that, for the money, those Klipsch's are the best IMHO.

They offer 5 pairs of a tip size for $14 (shipping is part of the $14). As far as the S2 buds, very good sound and also much better than the Beats. S2 and S4 are another level for sound quality compared to Beat buds. What the S4s add is another armature in each bud for more audio detail. S2s still rock for the money.
