On battery...I took the phone off the charger at 6am this morning....showing 9hr 11min on battery and I am at 2 bars on the battery meter.

This is with heavy to moderate use...streamed music for about 1.5 hrs this morning....about 20 mins of calls...a bunch of texts....and some browsing.

And I have been able to get voice + data working over 4g.

Thanks for the info.

Is it possible for you to go into the phone status and post the percentage of battery? Thanks in advance.

I have been playing with mine for about an hour...still deciding what I think.

If you posted this in the Razr forum, you would have got some jokes ;)

Think about it :)

Here is an example: What about the PHONE?

Seriously, your current micro review of the Rezound makes sense, since same 9660 LTE chip as TB. Nice SoC, but not a nice LTE chip. The LTE is the major weakness IMO of this device.

I'm interested in this as well. If you have a chance, could you try simultaneous voice & data over 3G (assuming you can turn off 4G)?

I was wrong! You can do Voice and Data over 3G, the phone kept picking up wifi and turning it back on after I turned wifi off when I would try to surf while talking.

I had to unplug my router to find out for sure. Sweet!!

This phone is rapidly growing on me...:D

I keep discovering new features in Sense 3.5 I have never seen!

Verizon sent me a screen protector and a hard case...

The screen protector was a glitter protector for a Samsung phone and the hard shell case was supposed to be leather and it was for a Thunderbolt! lol

She only charged me like 6 bucks combined and they waived the $35 Activation fee so it was worth it :)

I just took a sneak peek at Walmart's black Friday ad, and I think I saw that if you order a smartphone through them, you get a $100.00 Walmart gift card. Not sure if they'll carry the Rezound at that time, if anyone is thinking about waiting to see how the Rezound plays out.

Sigh, Milkshed27 now I'm compelled to take a screenshot of the deal...why did you have to thank me? :( :p

I can't make out the fine print though.

I wonder if they'll let you buy a "contract phone" out of contract. $400+ sounds better than $500+

Just got off of the phone with Verizon and they really need to train better.

I called about one of the secondary lines upgrade and got into an argument with the CSR. He said that when going from a 3G feature phone to a 3G smartphone, you get to keep grandfathered unlimited data. Then he said the only way you lose grandfathered unlimited data was to go from any 3G device to a 4G LTE device. I said that it was the opposite, that feature phone unlimited data and smartphone unlimited data was where the difference was, not between 3G & 4G.

We argued, things were said , I asked for a supervisor. She said the same thing he said. I asked her to find in the documentation where it said that. While she was doing that I found about 10 sites with pics of Verizon documents (data brochures) that said "3G smartphone data plans are the same as 4G LTE smartphone data plans." She was surprised and apologized for the misunderstanding. She asked if she could do anything else. I said to educate her staff on it.

It's bad enough that you can't find this stuff on Verizon's site in plain english, but when the CSR's (& their supervisors) don't know about this after it being around for 4 months, that's downright pathetic. If I wouldn't have known any better, I would've lost my unlimited data. I wonder how many people have lost out on stuff like that because of uninformed CSRs?

End Rant

Wow, sorry you had to deal with that. You'd think after 4 months since the tiered data change they'd pretty much all be up to speed on the way the data plans work.

Any new Rezound owners having any issues with the power button? That was the 1st complaint on the Thunderbolt, after a few weeks the button was hiding like shrinkage on a man after he'd been in the pool for awhile....

Most have only had it for a few days so we probably won't see this as an issue for a bit.

I will say, I wished they would go back to the power/lock button like they had on the Inc1. I know these give the phone a sleeker look, but sometimes they can be hard to push. If you think the Tbolt was bad as far as button travel, you should try a Inc2. The buttons are almost flush, and the actual button isn't centered under the button cover. So if you press say more to the left side on the button, it doesn't contact. You have to press more to the right side.

It also doesn't help that the TPU case I have has a hole for the power button, so it's even harder to hit (more recessed having to get your finger down in the hole). If they would've made it like the cases on my Inc1 & Tbolt (the case covered the button and had a raised area over the button) it would be much easier to press.

HTCPedia has the MHL adapter on thier site now. It's $29.99 but they currently only have 5 in stock. There are a few pics on the page as well. It's the same one for the Evo3D, Sensation, and a few others.

HTC AC M490 MHL Adapter

To me, $30 with HDMI is a lot better than the DLNA adapter for $150.

I wouldn't really mind the button being flush with the chassis, to me it was more about the quality feel. Why have a stout sturdy power button that slowly and surely starts to recede into the body just a few weeks after ownership? If the button was receded straight out of the box then no biggie for me, but considering it gave after only a few weeks, it felt like a poor design flaw.
