Sorry but I went back to Leandros.
later on that ROM made a height.
it began to restart periodically with 30s interval on my phone.
Dunno what was happening.
Reflashing ROM also didn't solve the prob.
Sorry!!!

If you know english pls go that way.

not that we donot respect our national language, but people from south and NOrth east wont get Hinglish (Hindi written in english).

else pls use Hindi font.

respect your national language fully. don't taint it with english fonts.

@ gautam (Thanks a lot guys)

good news first:

1. almost everything working nice.
2. Flash 10.3 is working I flashed it.
3. the flash videos never ran in the stock browser, seems youtube app came up.

bad ones (for the devs to correct.)

I was using link2sd on stock rom+kernel. The first time I flashed the rom, Link2sd worked fine with sd-ext. (8 gb class4 partitioned to 1 gb ext3 and rest as FAT32).

But after flashing kernel I could not bring up Link2sd to use the sd-ext.

I formated sd-ext seperatly from CMW.

Sam did you forget to compile ext3 into the kernel ???

the phone faced random reboots.

I have used link2sd to freeze Netquin antivirus and optimiser.

used V6 supercharger script to run on moderate ram usage. (val 3)

Busybox 1.19. installed.

could not take an incoming call after I had kept the phone idle for around 25 to 30 mins. The lock screen doesn't seem to respond.

Request pls look into the issue.

Also pls tell me how to take the logcat. I donot have a windows machine with ADB setup only linux (11.04 32bit). so far adb not configured.

I thought that it came with gingerbread and not in froyo.

If you want a change in look and feel of the notification bar and windows animation, I had done a framework mod in UOT 2 months back you can download it here. It is build around sense theme.

second UOT got deleted when I formated my second linux:rolleyes:

you can install notification toggle app from market for that purpose

sam and gautom did well.
1. open youtube.com. click on enable desctop. flash works.

2. install link2sd. open it. it will ask u to select partition, select ext3 . now switch off ur phone. again on it. open link2sd. it works now. i m using it :)

3. rom is great and error free. lol ..

thanks for the utube stuff.

Happy to know that Link2sd is working fine with your current rom installation.

I'd installed and configured Link2sd 10 or 12 times with stock rom.

So when link2sd shows an error msg that ext3 cannot be recognized after a clean factory reset and kernel upgrade, I naturally suspected the kernel module by sam. first thing I do after a factory reset is link2sd.

also I had made a couple (using dsixda's kitchen) of custom roms a couple of month back but I was struck with dengue and hostpitalised for quite some time so could not test it.

My dev installation (pingui os 64 bit crashed after I upgraded it to 11.10, all due to my tweaking:mad:, so lost all data including the cm7 repo.) bad times now a days.

voh! ! cool animation when i clock on menu or opens lock . i liked it.. thanks.. if u can do this.. why not a wifi, 3g toggle in notification

no bro.... not notification toggle .. i want it inbuit in notification bar? can u please do that? search google images for galaxy pro notification bar.. and see it..

did you try the app?

this app helps to embed toggle build into notification. it will show up when you drag down the notification.

use "first all in one notification" and "second all in one notification" (select 3 or 4 toggles in a single "all in one notification". and remember to disable all single notifications.

but there is catch. toggle will not happen in single click. a menu pops up.

don't know whether the single touch toggle functionality is available in froyo notification bar?

yup i used this toggle before.. but does not happens in single clock. i saw samsung galaxy pro, android 2.2 froyo. i has so. search in google images for notification bar if it and see.. do something please

ICS source is out. Sam any hope?

also pls tell have you enable ext4 support for the kernel.

did you recompile the kernel?

I know sources are out. It is. 11gb and contains 187000 files... I don't have enough space to fit these and develop it... if it is ported to LG I will port that to. A70... how can I compile kernel without source... have just modded it.. now I am working on cm 7 ... I have ported it but not able to test it as it won't run on emulator

@monu
Can you tell which ext your using so that everyone can use that....
I am porting LG froyo to a 70 so that you can use better framework:-)

ext3 has been working fine for me with the stock rom + L2sd.

i will wipe everything and install from scratch. then I shall tell you.

@ sam

you are telling that touch screen drivers of a70 are closed source.

and pls tell me if you have successfully configured adb in linux for A70.

the closest I came was with wireless adb. but it fails to give root permissions on su command.

and work around?

Once again let me congratulate on the efforts you've taken and the good heart to share it with all people.

Adb is not working on Linux because first you have to configure usb access to your phone... only then it will work
