Using 3G to get internet on my Macbook

Is there a way that I can use my cell phone 3G to get internet for my MacBook when I'm in a location without wireless?

PDANet is supposed to work, but I haven't gotten it to work on my Mac yet.

Proxoid works. It's an app from Market. Just set up as a Proxy server in Safari's Settings.

PDAnet works just fine. Search for PDAnet in the market and install for your phone. Go to PdaNet -- USB Tether/Bluetooth DUN for Android and follow the instructions for use on a Mac. Unfortunatly we can only do USB tethering right now, but once the magical 2.x update hits, we will be able to blutooth tether like the big kids. This is what I use on my Aluminum Unibody Macbook, and I'm a certified Apple Specialist :D

I was able to download the EasyTether app OK, but can't download the software to my PC. The web site that one is supposed to get it from (below) just hangs there...
Download EasyTether drivers

I want to use this with my XP netbook. Any suggestions? (Don't mean to hijack the thread...thought it was similar enough.)
I too am having the same issue. Can someone post the files here that were downloaded from the website. The site has been taken offline.

Just wanted to say thanks, I am going to try the PDANet option while I am out of town this week. If you here from me tomorrow you know it worked.

thanks again

Has anyone had any luck using Bluetooth DUN after upgrading thier Eris to 2.1? I have been using PDAnet to tether and it works great on both my ASUS eee PC and my wife's Macbook via USB, but I haven't been able to connect over bluetooth. I'm curious if there is something special I have to do with my settings to get it to work if it's even possible.
